Private Behavior Consultations

A 2 hour in-your-home private consultation, suggested training plan and post-consult phone support. Private consultations should be considered when your companion animal needs more than just "training." We look at the whole dog or cat and work together with you to help your furry friend overcome behavior problems. Private Behavior Consultations are usually offered for ongoing behavior problems such as, separation anxiety, shy dogs, and aggression. *Please note, all fees are based on a 30 mile radius—extra travel fee will be applied outside of that range*

Private Training Packages

All training packages require a Private Consultation (see above) to determine the training and behavior modification needs of your dog. However, that fee is transferred to all the training packages so you can deduct the consultation fee from the total when you decide to proceed with private training. Private, in-your-home training will help your dog and you learn together and provide you with one-on-one guidance and support, in your home, where most problems are occurring. After your consultation, we will design a program that fits you and your dog's needs.

Package A
One, 1-hour visit per week for 5 weeks-- Our most popular package $450.00


Package B
Two, 1-hour visits per week for 4 weeks-- Our intense package $680.00


Package C
One, 1-hour visit for 3 weeks- Ideal for tuning up your leash walking or recall. Pre-requisite--your dog has had some basic training (with Whole Dog Training or other positive reinforcement trainer) and is friendly and social. Also great for pre- CGG Testing-- Our tune-up package $350.00

Home School Training Behavior Modification and Training Program

Do you ever ask yourself, “I wonder if there is a dog trainer that could come and live with me to see what my dog does all the time?” Home School Training with the Whole Dog Training team is your answer to that question, and is designed to meet your behavior and training needs, right in your own home for extended periods during the day.

This unique service addresses most behavior problems, and helps you overcome problems with solutions that work for both you and your dog. And, since most behavior problems happen in the home, it makes perfect sense to address and treat the problem where it is taking place.

Whether you need help with housetraining your new puppy, or impulse control issues with your older dog, our trainers will be on the scene to help you work with your dog. We will come to your home and spend up to 3 hours per day helping your dog live peacefully in your home using modern, stress-free training and behavior modification techniques. It’s like having your own personal Dog Nanny to help you analyze and treat your dog’s behavior and training issues.

Home School Packages

In Your Home, Five-Day Package with Behavior Consultation and Analysis

Included:
This package includes in-your-home behavior observation and analysis, with a written, detailed behavior modification and training report. This package is ideal for identifying problems and/or solving one specific behavior problem, such as jumping, barking, pulling on leash or housetraining issues. Our training team will come to your home, appraise your situation, and isolate your dog’s needs while we initiate the necessary behavior and training modification program needed to suppress the unwanted behavior while training your dog what to do instead. During the 5-day program, we will spend up to three hours with you and your dog focusing on training, household management and prevention.

In addition, we will provide you with a daily plan to follow for the hours your trainer is not there. Five days is usually enough time to begin the transformation of your dogs’ specific problem behavior. We will also teach you how to continue modifying the old, unwanted behaviors, while reinforcing the new, desired ones.

Included is on-going phone support and one follow up visit within a month.

Cost: $1,500

Ten-Day Behavior Modification and Training Services

Included:
You will receive the Behavior Analysis from the five-day program, and in addition, we will focus on your dog’s individual personality and strive toward end-goals as will be determined by you and your training team. During the 10-day program, we will spend up to three hours with you and your dog focusing on training, household management and prevention.

You will be instructed on how to consistently focus on maintaining your dog’s new skills, and you will be supported with on-going phone access and a follow up visit within one month of completion of this program. This is perfect for housetraining and house manners training with your new dog or puppy.

Included is on-going phone support, and one follow up visit within a month.

Cost: $2,900

Fifteen-Day Behavior Modification and Training Services

Included:
You will receive the Behavior Analysis from the five-day program, and in addition, we will focus on your dog’s individual personality and then strive toward end-goals as will be determined by you and your training team.

This package will give our team adequate time for the evaluation and investigation of your dog’s strong and weak points. The emphasize for this program is on implementing behavior modification and training plans to a point where you and your family are able to easily take over the training and manage your dog in a consistent way. During the 15-day program, we will spend up to three hours with you and your dog each day focusing on training, household management and prevention.

This program is wonderful for homes were multiple family members will participate in the training program, as your dog will be trained to a point where everyone will be able to contribute to the training and behavior modification process. This is an appropriate program for separation distress, leash aggression and other more difficult behavior issues.

Included is on-going phone support, and two follow up visits within a month.

Home School Singles-- For the Working Pet Parents

While you're away at work we will come and train your dog. Think of the possibilities! Your dog can learn:

• To walk on a loose leash
• Sit, Down, and Stand on cue
• Come when called
• Stay
• Fun tricks to impress your friends, like shake, bow, speak, etc.
• Whatever you want them to learn!
  

These packages are ideal for dogs that need to learn a single skill, such as loose leash walking, a trick, stay or come when called. You can come home to a well-trained, and well-exercised dog!

Singles Package #1:
Tailored for dogs that have had some basic training background. Perfect for polishing a single behavior such as loose leash walking, or coming when called.

Singles Package #2:
This level of Home School Singles is designed for dogs with more challenging training deficits with a more intense schedule of visitation.

Singles Package #3:
Our most intense Singles package increases the amount of time spent with your dog, as well as the number of days. This program is intended for dogs that need more individual attention and help with learning the desired skill.

5-45-minute sessions per week for 3 weeks
30-minute progress report each week
Exit training so you know how to work with your dog
On-going phone support

Cost: $995.00

Canine Good Citizen Training and/or Testing
Initial evaluation will be ½ hour and will include written suggestions about what training your dog will be need to pass the test.
You can then take the test, choose to work on your own, take a couple of private lessons, or choose one of our other sevices to help you get your dog ready.
$75.00 plus $25 for test

Testing: Private CGC testing for those that are ready. $75.00
